I just committed one of the most asshole sins in the history. I wore my sister-in-law's wedding gown without her permission. And I cannot deny, it was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life thus far - I looked like such a beautiful bride. My god, what an asshole I am. She'd probably fly back to the US if she ever found out. |

I think my parents should have named me Awkward, you know. Awkward Cheong. I should show you some of the awkward photos I've taken with certain people. But this public domain forbids me to. Supermassive today. Hats off to Marcus, Chuan and Faeliq for doing a smashing good job on organizing and everything. Music was superb, crowd was sweaty, photos were awkward. Denise is awkward. Joy, Danny and the usual member(z) in a plane to the Land of Bamboo and Flying Warriors. Missing Joy's curly fries, and missing taking more awkward photos with Daniel. Damn it.

My parents are holding a fanfare just because my brother's friend and fiance are coming over for dinner. The dinner spread is of epic and colossal proportions it's almost unbelievable. The lights are warm and soft instead of the usual glaring fugly fluorescent energy-saving lights my dad always insists on using. My dad is using upbeat jazzy tunes for the background music, he just popped the champagne, and my mom is dressed in a really long white flowy skirt and she used her damn act cute voice to welcome them it almost made me puke. I DON'T SEE THEM GOING THROUGH ALL THAT TROUBLE WHEN MY FRIENDS COME OVER. THE ONLY THING THEY DO TO MY FRIENDS IS SCARE THEM AWAY. As usual I'm cloistered up in my room listening to sad songs waiting for an sms, trying to block out the glorious laughter that is coming from the living room - it's so glorious that it's almost deafening. I hope they think I'm still out or something, I'm in no mood to fake smiles and giggles today, nor answer lame polite questions about my A level preparations. I'll be happy eating cup noodles on my own, instead of joining the masquerade. I'm going to study now, and pretend that I don't exist, which doesn't need much pretending anyway. |

Spent the night trying to sing Wordplay with HW it was MEGA MIGHTY FUNNY I wish I recorded it down it made me convulse in laughter till my abs (yah right, right..) turned red. I'm glad I went for Alfresco yesterday, except that the movie really sucked. Hate this kind of naughty kids show. But the rest of it was sooooooooo fun. Loved spending time with the twins, I love them so much they're so cute and annoying as they are sometimes, I love how they always tease me by calling me a whale. Then Hannah will go like "DUUUUUUHHHNNEEEEEESSSSSEEEEEE.... WHHHEEERRRRREEEEEE AAAAARRRRREEEEE YYOOOOOOOUUUUUUU GOOOOIIIINNNNNGGGGG..." in her deep bellowing whale imitation voice. The live commentary the twins, Jacq and i gave on the performances were ticklish to the max, especially Jacq's wonderful and accurate foresight and her pathetic attempt to beatbox. HAHA, mega funny - we were right. I'm determined to take up beatboxing after my A's. I was in such a bad mood on the way back home because I was running 3 hours late for some supersized family gathering, and I was on the verge of scolding vulgarities already. But God sent me this angel - The Cab Driver. He was so wonderful. He started talking to me and I started ranting about the usual teenage angsty stuff like how my parents don't understand me and how they always scold me etc etc. He was a great listener and he gave me some advice from his experience as a father. He was so understanding and cute, told me to "take things easy" so that "life would be happy" and that "life is like a jungle" and how "your parents actually love you a lot" but now "singapore very competitive" and how "higher income families are more competitive". Haha. He was really funny and even though he used many cliche advice, it just made so much sense to me. He really cheered me up so much. I thanked him for brightening my day and I thanked him for making such a difference in my life. Thank you God for sending me an angel. Missing facil BBQ today... What the hell... But I'm quite glad... Not really in the mood for mingling and lingering. But like, I'm going for my brother's wedding dinner at Sentosa so I'm looking forward to it. Went to get my hair and make-up done, I really look like the Queen of the Underworld now.

Drew my first realistic ear today during Math lecture. It's supposed to be Sauron's ear. But I don't know how to make an ear look evil. I mean, how harmful can an ear look like? Dripping bloog and crackling flames? I don't think Sauron would have piercings anyway so that's not counted. In any case, I like the ear I drew.
I performed a miracle today - I WENT FOR PIANO LESSON AND ENJOYED MYSELF. Everytime I go for lessons, I say a little prayer before I start playing the piece I'm supposed to have practiced (I've been doing the SAME one for like 5 months already, bloody noob) and it works. Siansation.
Pencil TIN case PIANG!-ed onto the LT floor today and everthing flew across the floor. Freaking sad and embarrassed, and usually I don't get embarrassed by this kind of things one. When I saw the stupid table slanting away from me, I knew it was the end. My whale reflexes were not fast enough to salvage the tragedy that was about to come. At that moment, when the table had already fallen about 40 degrees, and when the pencil case was in mid-air, the first and only thing I thought of was "DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND." I think I thought so hard to the extent that I said it out loud many times over before the thing crashed onto the floor. Ms Yoong was so nice she picked up everything for me. And I was so in embarrassment because he really did turn around and my mind was still screaming "DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND DON'T TURN AROUND." Sigh, Sauron must be grinning at my predicament.
Went on this Amazing Race-like trip to The Better Toy Store with HW today, because both of us had to rush off to tuition and piano. HW was being a total freak as usual. Finally bought what I set out to buy and I'm quite pleased. Now I have to execute a fail-proof (and linger-proof) plan to give it to the stupid birthday boy, AND I have to make a card. And an even larger card for HW since her birthday is way overdue. Ok I better get started. LJ is quite fun. I like the cut thing. |

Wanted to surprise Sean today by waking him up PERSONALLY by jumping on him at 8am. But quite obviously I overestimated my ability to wake up early myself. So n00b. Saw the 2nd most beautiful guy at Mcdonalds' today while waiting by the counter for my Mcgriddles meal (WHICH THEY FREAKING MADE A MISTAKE OF GIVING ME SAUSAGE EGG MCMUFFIN INSTEAD GRR). After placing my order, I gracefully took a large step to my left, making way for the next person in line. Upon the moment I poised myself beside the counter, I heard the most sexy and monotone voice on my right. "One medium Sprite please," in the most careless but alluring tone. I've heard about headturners and all, but this was a body and soul turner. I was already so captivated by his voice, and when I turned to gaze upon the creator of such sweet music, it bore upon me a srcumptuous feast for the senses. He was relatively fair-skinned, dark jet black eyes, dark curly hair, and an unshaven face. His eye bags were quite obvious, either from the lack of sleep pondering about the mystery of beauty or from the excess of smoking. Either way, it's still so sexy. And he was wearing this plain black fitting t-shirt. He wasn't like buff or anything, but he was pretty lean, a little to the skinny side, which was perfect to me anyway.
He took my breath away, with just those 4 words. One medium Sprite please.
Feeling extremely happy and emo now. So what do you call that. happemo, must be. Found a new way to irritate Sean. I love it when he says "I'm so proud of you." Haha. :)
